Thank you Jan and Ken for the wonderful time we had, the care you took of us and the laughs. We will miss you, but see you all again soon. Goodbye Townsville and hello Emerald, Qld. We are heading south again, but this time down the centre instead of the coast.

On the road again and lovin' it but only a couple of hours from Townsville and already wet and cold....oh no! Somewhere on the road between Charters Towers and Emerald, we had a night of rain, cold and the most revolting smell of what we later discovered were Midgee trees which smell when they are wet, and boy did they stink

Arrived at the farm to stay with Chris and Wayne and kids Zak and Jemma (Destination Unknown). Another bus travelling family we met down in Brisbane staying at the showgrounds and had a great couple of days with them. They have picked up some farm work and we're here to hang with them for a few days. Lola is loving the kid contact.
