A stunning day starting to explore the MacDonnell Ranges beginning at Simpsons Gap where the water was icy cold. Then on to the magnificent waterhole at Ellery Creek where Lola & I swam through the gap to the otherside and thankfully a sandbar in the middle for a bit of a rest. We head home as the storms roll in. They say the desert gets you hooked in, and it certainly does as we arrive back home to a rainbow.
And then in total contrast....a drink at Montes in town, a night at Alrunga Park Speedway as the rains came down and finished off with a night light view from Anzac Hill.
