Lola has been doing exceptionally well at High School and continued the Japanese lessons she commenced in Distant Education. So she's been fortunate to be accepted in the Japan exchange for an amazing opportunity.

It's been quiet without her, the first time away from us for any length of time but all communciations so far say she's making the most of it all.

She returns to Perth on Grand Final Day, during the big game. So we sat in the bar, the only 2 black and whites as the Pies and the Eagles put on a show.

Leading up to this day, we took a couple of days R&R hanging out in the little town of Boddington.
