CENTRAL WA TO NORTH QLD IN 9 DAYS - 3-12 MARCH 2017

The Mad Dash! While relaxing at Jurien Bay (Sandy Cape Campground) we received the very sad news that our very dear Grandad had passed at the ripe old age of 99. So very special to us, we had to go and pay our respects.....to the opposite side of the country. So the very next morning, off we headed on a mad dash from just north of Perth WA to Townsville QLD as quick as we possibly can.

Here we find ourselves 2/3 the way through the mad dash. 7 Days down, Geraldton, Carnarvon, Karratha, Port Hedland, Broome, Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek, Warmun, Kununurra & WA leg is complete. We survived heatwave delirium, cyclone floods and unbelievable cankles... And we even managed a stop off to visit friends in Broome, stopping for the day and making up the time driving through the night. While Brad slept I was driving and Lola and I just missing running over a croc emerging out of the flood waters somewhere between Broome and Fitzroy Crossing.
