First it was Optus "CYBERATTACK" 22.09.22 Drivers Licence, Passport, Medicare, Name,DOB, Email, etc - the moment the Government jumped in encouraging us to change our licence number, my shackles immediately went up.
Next Telstra decides to disclose their data breach of 2017 of staff details.
Then there's G4S "on alert after tax numbers and bank details posted online following hack" which actually occurred in July but now apparently posted online.
Yesterday Toyota announced 296,019 email addresses and customer numbers have been exposed in a hack.
Facebook warns of 400 apps designed to steal personal information from social media accounts.
Now data breach is nothing new, I know. But I smell a dirty, rotten rat! Lets watch and learn with eyes wide open.
